Hi all,
Just dropping by to catch up on everyone's news. I had some unbelievable news today, I won a secondment for a higher duties position that I have dreamed of for a few years now. It's for 6 months and involves a lot of travel around the state and a number of people applied for it. What makes it even more attractive and special, apart from it being a challenging but very rewarding role, is that my ex told me that I was a 'career spinster' and I feel that I have shaken that label and proven my capabilities. Thanks for letting me share my excitement and news with you. That's what I really enjoy about this site. |

Thanks so much for posting. I just turned 56, almost didn't make it, lol. :sunglass: We hear ya. 9.5 years? humm. Well mine was 16 years. Ya. I hear ya. I have no idea how to do this anymore. All my attempts have met in failure to launch or disaster. I don't want a quick roll in the hay, I want a friendship first, you can get sex anywhere, but good friends are better.... sometimes I think I'm better off with just my pets. They think I'm fabulous. Yes, I do their thinkin' for them, lmao.... I've had my rough days, thinkin' "omg, these are the Golden Years???? REALLY??? I am so screwed." But there is always reality TV to help us remember why we like our own company right? There are plenty of lovely femmes here that can help you get over the "what now" hump, some of us are fabulous flirts, you could practice your Mambo-Salsa-Twist and Shout moves here.... just sayin'.........:goodluck: |

It's getting ready to start snowing here :-). We are all stocked up. I have wood stacked on the patio, logs ready to burn in the fireplace and Red is on her way home.

I have a busy evening. My best friend is coming over to help me bust up my kitchen floor so I can put in a new ceramic floor. It will be eating out for a couple of weeks. It is probably a really good thing I am single at this time, I don't think there are many that could endure the mess I am getting ready to make in my home! Have a great week everyone! |

Well... Good Mornin Folks and Miss Morninstar!; Checkin in here from the tip of Lake Michigan, or the tip of the penis as the young Folk say. Ms Morningstar, if Dutch can put up with your snorin on the phone this long, I daresay you two will make it fine (hee-hee). I just woke up and made coffee and have some hot popfarts, err, I mean poptarts in the toaster. The weather has been crazy as usual here. The springtime Crocus flowers came up in the middle of February and are croaking. I ain't neva seen that happen, and the coons all stopped hibernatin, and the birds are singin and matin like it's Sringtime already. If this keeps up Folk in Boston will be gettin sun tans in winter! But then, yesterday, I saw the world's biggest snowflakes comin down, and measured them at 3 equare inches. Ol farts weather rant ends here) Well, take it esy Folks. Over and Out

:seeingstars: omg, the rain finally stopped. Until later today of course, I love a guy who can fire up a grill in less than 30.... lol, not my area of expertise.
So, what's everyone doing today?? Clay, you need to keep teasing all of us with your stories of dolphins and such, yer what they call .... ya. DreamKeeper. lol I have decided to branch out and set up a little shop. Nothing fancy, just a place to hang and show case my wares. Am so excited. :canadian: |

Hey all you gorgeous & handsome Lofters!
Good to see everyone's smiling faces here! Having lunch with a straight friend tomorrow, going to Thrifts stores. We always have so much fun. Sunday I am going to just take it easy as I always do. Monday and the next week and a half I am rearranging my apartment, doing some cleaning in preparation for some awesome company. The week of the 11th is going to be a non stop week for me. The 13th, I am escorting two beautiful ladies to see Lord of the Dance in savannah,GA. and I am super excited as I haven't ever seen this dance troupe live. I am seeing my local Primary doc, getting my monthly B12 shot, the 14th my Oncology appt. and Labs to see what my tumor cell count levels are, the 15th, my "guests" will arrive, and the 16th St Patty's parade in Savannah,GA. Whooohoo. This is my second year to go and I am really excited. Can't wait for my "company" to arrive...:). So, that is MY weekend and next 2 weeks..lol. Nexttttttttt..lol |
