Whether a fan of the old, or a fan of the new Battlestar Galactica (I prefer the new), you gotta love Starbuck. Of course, Starbuck is waaaaay hotter in the newer episodes because the character's played by a hot blond named Katie Sackhoff (yum!). Anyway, I'm a playful person, I like to have fun and laugh with my friends. I'm 38 years old and I've just recently gotten around to telling my parents the truth that I've been hiding from them...come to find out, they both said they knew! I asked, "what, do I have some sort of blinking sign hanging on my chest?!" They reassured me they were just my parents and that's how they knew. Kinda how I "knew" that my son is gay before he came out to me...small world, huh? I live in OKC and I don't know that many people so I'm real interested in finding new friends to hang out with, so drop me a line!:pile:

Well I don't know if I'm doing this right since I'm doing this on my phone, BUT, yes, you are correct, BSG is what I was referring to. I was so excited that someone picked up on my sci-fi reference, and even more excited when you ended with "So say we all." I instantly thought, "now that's a cool lady right there".

I'm sure you're not the only one, lol. The event isn't a dress up every day event. It will however be a bonding experience you'll never get anywhere else as you make more life long friends. BTW, really no one cares how you dress and there aren't any rules that say you have to dress up.

I loved BG, still miss it. My gamer ID in a couple of games is KaraThrace! She was a great character, loved her strength, her tough exterior hiding how wounded she really was. Awesome!
