Transplanted to Ohio in 1981. Hanging out around Cleveland, Akron. Snow finally melting and we have sunshine. Spring will come!

Buckeye's are 2.....or 3 things {the third is debatable }

1- a Tree

2- a peanut butter, chocolate concoction every ohion adores, every other gas station carries homemade buckeyes...I've learned in my time as an ex-pat in Ohio, call a buckeye a "reece's butter cup knockoff"...u better be a good sprinter... wear some Nike's and run, fast...:blink:

3 - Ohio State Univ. sports team....

Actually, most of Canada and a pretty big chunk of the US live North of me. The town I am in is the south-most point of Canada.

When I was a married queer, I went to Sarnia? to buy a bull dozer....

My kids were fascinated with the black squirrels, and I did not like the big tall blonde border patrol lady who was making us get out of the car.

I may have had pot in it....

Luckily it was not found.

Sarnia is actually kinda scary. It's very conservative and very, um, monochromatic. I'm still having culture shock over moving here from Toronto.

i once read the chronicles of sarnia with a black eye.

I'm sure that the chapter where the heroine hears her coworkers all talking about meat raffle, so she decides to go (because she presumed it was some sort of a band) only to discover that they were actually RAFFLING OFF MEAT AT A BAR was riveting.
