I have been a bad bad girl while Red has been gone. I have this hidden sweet tooth that appears every time she leaves town. Lets just say that the confession session will be near a record time when she return on Saturday. :-)

Hmmm, I went to a small event and had dessert there before I had dinner at home. So, for me, dessert was a homemade milkshake-of the white chocolate and strawberry variety.

I am having double stuff Oreo cookies and orange juice.

If I ever find my fav desert with is a large creampuff filled with french vannlia pudding filling then loaded with powderd sugar,u can bet im going to get one and injoy it.Diet b damed.

Today we're eating strawberrys and whipped cream, both strawberrys and the cream from farmers in the "neibourhood". I love local products!

I made pumpkin bars with walnuts and pecans, omg so good.!
This is the second time I made this.

To make Pumpkin Bars:
1 pkg Pan Bars Mix
3 large eggs
3/4 cup veg oil
3/4 canned pumpkin

3/4 walnuts, chopped (optional)

Sugar Free Dessert
 

I found a sugar free dessert in a cookbook that was given to me.

Enjoy!

What you will need:

3 small boxes of sugar free strawberry jello
2 containers of strawberry fat free yogurt
5 to 6 fresh strawberries <optional>
cool whip
1 pie shell

Directions:

Boil 3 cups of water, take off stove and mix jello; after it starts to get thick, blend in yogurt< don't add any additional water>. Pour in pie shell, cut the strawberries into pieces and let it cool for a few hours. Put the cool whip on top and if you want, add a few more strawberries on top.

Sheryln Melon - if you can find it buy it! So soft and sweet and juicy. It's practically juice is a semi-solid state. Drippy and tender. So good!

If you can't find that one -- go for any melon. It's that time of year. Enjoy!

I bake. A lot. Tonight, we're having fresh strawberry layer cake with fresh strawberry buttercream. And blackberry margaritas. Caramel cake and Snickerdoodle cake are in the lineup for next week.

Dessert today...

Vanilla panna cotta with blackberries (picked yesterday by yours truely).

I just made Nanaimo for the very first time. I don't know if they taste the way Nanaimo bars are supposed to taste, but they're fucking delicious. Totally worth calling all over town to find Bird's custard powder.
