2. Who do you share it with? Jackhammer and occasionally, Gracie 3. What are your favorite kind of sheets? I have several favorite sets but we have several sets of high threadcount sateen sheets that I found on super duper clearance. Also, I kinda love that one set of flannel cheetah-print ones! 4. (feather, buckwheat, etc.) We have one memoryfoam one that Jackhammer just HAD to have, 3 feather pillows, and 2 of those biggo fluffy hotel kind. 7. What position do you sleep in? Mostly on my stomach but I always seem to end up with my leg hiked up and on my side. 8. What time do you go to bed on average? Usually around Midnight. 9. And I love fleecy or flannel sheets in the winter usually... 4. How often do you change your sheets? Once a week at least. Oftener as needed 5. How many pillows are on your bed? Not enough...we each have 2...I like to have 2 for my head and 1 for between my legs. (it aligns the spine) 6. What kind of pillows are they? If I weren't working til 10 and home at 11, I would probably go to bed at 930 or 10pm. I wake up involuntarily at 6am every day regardless of what time I went to bed.... 9. It had big drawers all in the base...like a captain's bed. It was up high on a platform and had storage in the headboard also...(can someone say TOY BOX???) It was a knock off of a pottery barn bed. Just gorgeous...and mixed woods... For sheets, I want more Egyptian cotton sheets. I think my ex kept mines...We already have warm fleecy ones. I'm a bit of a sheet whore I guess, because I like a really high thread count sheet. I'm also very partial to white sheets; no idea why, other than the white sheets are cool, temperature wise and I live in Florida. 4. How often do you change your sheets? Weekly, sometimes twice a week depending... 5. How many pillows are on your bed? Four, and yes I use all four. 6. What kind of pillows are they? (feather, buckwheat, etc.) I have a variety...a feather one for hugging, one of those special pillows for neck support, etc. 7. What position do you sleep in? Generally, lying down works best for me. Seriously, I tend to fall asleep lying on my side then I end up on my back at some point. I am a bed hog. 8. What time do you go to bed on average? I am a night owl big time. What are your favorite kind of sheets? nice quality sateen sheets, the thread count doesn't have to be super high so long as they are made from a nice turkish or egyptian cotton sateen. (marshalls often has some great finds) 4. How often do you change your sheets? once a week when I'm on my game, once every two weeks if life is crazy. I think clean sheets are one of the best luxuries and if I won a gazillion dollars I'd pay to have fresh sheets put on my bed every day. 5. How many pillows are on your bed? Six 6. (feather, buckwheat, etc.) I have one memory foam pillow that I should use, which requires me to sleep on my back (and consequently I never use), I have three down alternative soft fluffy pillows, that I use all the time; and I have two down alternative firm pillows, that I use to prop myself up when I'm reading. 7. As I share the current bed with chefhmboyrd, I am spared of having to answer all of those questions!
I can add to a few. I prefer cotton sheets and blankets, the thicker the better. Picture a Mommy Dearest scene, but me screaming "No synthetic bedding!" All crazy eyed and stuff. Yep. I will break out the wool blanket when it gets cold enough, otherwise I have 2-3 cotton blankets on the bed. I think those big puffy comforters that you can't fit in a washing machine, even a decent front loader, are GROSS. I currently covet, besides a 80 pound block of french soap, a down filled blanket. I have tolerated just one fur baby in the bed, but swore off pets in the bed after having a cat that insisted on sleeping on my head. I most of all enjoy having someone with me in bed. Both of my parents (who divorced 30 years ago) don't sleep with their current spouses. I find it kind of sad. |

My bed frame is from the 50s era: it is made of blonde wood and has two compartments for either side of the bed and the middle of the headboard is open (a good place for pictures, tissues or a small glass of water or any sort of keepsake). 12. Since it's only me, I begin with being in the middle and often end up sideways on my left or right side or sometimes on my back or on my tummy. 14.
