What's everyone doing on a friday night?

I worked , did some forum posting and got ready to go play pool for a little while. A couple of drinks and a few victories later I am back to the forums.

I still have to clean out the rest of my closet and try to get some sleep before going to the market to promote my project again tomorrow.

You could also just put the name of the thread in there too in case people want to come over and get some conversation going.

I'm not TRYING to be in it! LOL It just happens!

I've gained a bunch of new clients over the last couple of weeks. Some of my old clients are going to start coming in next week. I hope it goes well.

I am so sorry you're feeling under the weather. I don't think the greasy food and drinks tonight helped my stomach feem any better.

Thanks! I don't think any of them were ever disappointed with my work but I know it's hard to sometimes go to a different shop even when your barber or stylists goes elsewhere. For some people it's about the relationship you maintain but for others, it's just too hard because of transportation etc.

I don't expect people to follow me. I will just keep doing what I love and meeting new clients, no hard feelings. It's really nice when I get to see my regulars though!

I have followed a couple of ladies that used to cut my hair before. I didn't mind cause it was in the same town. I'd rather stay with a good stylist, ya know, rather than have to look for someone new that won't give me a bad cut.
I know you must be excited to start your journey. I know I wish I could be adventurous like that. I just don't have a way to work to be able to travel. But it sounds like it's going to be an exciting adventure. I hope you can make it to the states and visit some of us. I might just squeal really loud if I met you in real. LOL.

I think it will really depend on where I am at the time? For example if I am going to want to spend some time in Ontario and make my way across western canada it would make more sense to head down through Seattle and work my way back across and then up through MI.

Who knows the first US state I may hit could be Alaska LOL

I would like to do NY/MA etc maybe next spring? It would depend on where I am at the time but I am sure I would be back around Guelph by then, at least for a little break. I'd love to see the US side of Niagra Falls and try to offer my services along the east coast because it might be awhile before I come that way again.

I didn't get past you went to play *POOL*!!! I haven't played in SO very long and I used to play on teams/leagues and in solo tournaments. Not that I was that good or anything. *ahem* So yes, I WAS jealous Merry..Here I am, stuck at home with a cold and a painful tooth and you get to go play pool..Bloody hell, I hope you guys had a blast :byebye:

My friday night was skyping with my best girl after a day of fun with one of the besties....today another day to hang out with a good friend after i vacuum my loft and bath the dogs...lol domestic today...

confession. i once had a chat addiction. i did, i did. i guess it has been close to 10 years now, ... i've been close to clean lol.


chat is one the coolest things invented. i just don't get into much anymore. the main reason i did years ago was a friend. i miss her. we've lost touch. happens.

I wouldn't be too jealous I went alone. Well, I considered myself alone seeing as though my ex was there. I did run into a friend but I think the total time out was an hour? LOL

I did have fun though. (((Hugs))) I had a couple of drinks and some typical bar food that made my own under the weather feeling come back.

I hope you all have a great weekend. What is everyone going to do today???

I have been up way too long already. I think my total sleep count was 2 hours by the time I felt comfortable enough to hit my pillow. LOL

My morning started with a hot cup of tea and then I headed off to the indoor market for a few hours. I love it there! I always get a cup of the best coffee, breakfast and an assortment of fruits, veggies and other little homemade goods. This time I got bread.

I've been trying to promote my traveling barber project there by offering my services for donation/barter. It's slowly catching on, I think. I had a few new customers today which is always fun! I love meeting people and just stopping to talk here and there.

What's planned for the rest of the day? I have to bring 6 giant bags and several boxes to the recycling center, find inspiration to cook and then finish this closet of mine before the Admins announce that chat is back up. LOL Otherwise this task will get pushed off for at LEAST another week.

I'm just in from doing a little weed eating. Dang lazy lawn guy putting off coming til next week forced me to do a butch work in the lawn..hmmph!!! With the cold and the root canal this week..I really didn't want to have to mow the lawn..One thing u should know about me...Butch work turns me into a real biotch!!
