Femmes Swim! Post Your Beach Favorites!
I was in the market for a new swimsuit and wondered if other folks have a hard time finding one they like as well. I don't have anxiety about wearing one in public, just finding one that fits me the way I want and that isn't ugly as hell.
I found the perfect one this morning. Love the retro-styling and always a huge fan of a halter in red! http://www.kiyonna.com/mm5/graphics/...ELLY_SWIM1.jpg Show me your faves! |

The bottom red one is made by Gottex and the other two black ones are made by Miraclesuit. They are expensive suits. What I did was to try them on in a department store like Macy's and then I found two of them on Amazon for much less and the black one with the skirt, on EBay (all brand-new!); also for much less money than the ones at Macy's. They fit beautifully and are very well-made. |

I have a terrible time with beach apparel. I am not super tall, I'm 5' 8". My height is in my torso, and even when I have tried on a one piece bathing suit from Land's End (which has extra long suits), they are still too short/small.
I have resorted to surf shorts and surf shirts, just because they fit. Does anybody know where a girl can go to get something feminine that will fit a long-torsoed woman? |

for Introverted1's Question ...
The swim suit I have, which looks like the swimsuit Orema posted (the blue aqua colored suit), is black. And yes, it's fairly easy to get on. It's an one piece.
The other swimsuit I posted recently, the polka dot suit, looks like an two piece (swim dress top with matching panties). I like both of them. Both look fairly nice. They hold their shape good, too. But I also like all the other suits posted too. They all look really nice, I think. You might be like some or most of us here. I personally like to try the suit on first, to make sure it fits right. Good luck to you and hope you find one that you like and fits right. :rrose: |

If you're not a bikini kind of lady, they make a lot of two pieces now that have more coverage. |
my favorite beach is right down the hill …. it's clean 99 % of the time .. Massachusetts have very clean beaches :)

Thank you for the suggestions. A two piece with a little more coverage would be doable for me. I like the sarong idea.

Not that I’m going to the beach, but if I was going this is something I’d like. |
