The Newsstand. Magazines you enjoy reading

What magazines do you subscribe too or buy,or get for free ?
I have over the years subscribe to many magazines. , Now I only would buy a few of them cause I really don't have time to read them all.

Some of my Favorites are:
Martha Stewart Food magazine, I save all these issues the recipes are excellent.

The only one I do subscribe to right now is a magazine called Shambala Sun , its a buddhist periodical.

I was gifted with "Everyday Foods".....lovely recipes!

I splurge on Martha Stewart Living.
Occasionally, I'll buy an art magazine.
I also love Texas Monthly and Texas Highways, but usually I read those at the hospital....

I love and look forward to the arrival of my Chicago magazine the most!

Magazines or newspapers

I just picked up our local paper just for Scarborough and it has lots of great info in it concerning what is going on around the area.

I subscribe to my provincial magazine and it comes once a month.

Gemme 11-26-2020 08:21 AM

I only subscribe to Living and O right now but pick up a lot of arts & crafts mags that are interesting to me, like Somerset Studio, Somerset Apprentice, Journaling, Die Cut Inspirations, PaperCraft, Die-Cutting Essentials, Cloth Paper Scissors, Cloth Paper Scissors: Pages, Cardmaker's A to Z, Art & Antiques and Stamp It.

I'll also pick up any magazines that have interesting images that I could use for collage, like Juxtapoz or The Artist magazine or even traditional women's magazines. Most of my regular crafty pick ups are quarterly or seasonal and are from across the pond.

Kätzchen 11-27-2020 08:43 AM

Taproot (crafts, gardening, cooking and subsequent topics on sustainability)

Portland Monthly (for it's coverage of local business, places to dine, exhibits in town, cultural attractions, etc)

And quarterly magazines, by field of study, for Sociology, Psychology, Nursing and Communication Studies.
