Yes, I am really enjoying the lovely spring we are having this winter!!! |
It's almost Winter Solstice/Yule! :3 What do all of you like to do with your significant others and loved ones if you celebrate together? I would like to hear some of your plans/ideas.
My girlfriend isn't Pagan, but she's very open doing witchy things with me, so I'm still in progress thinking what we'll do together soon. We're going to celebrate late because I sadly have a final on the 22nd, so we are moving our Winter Solstice celebration to the 24th full moon. |

Now days I am a solitary and I don't have a partner to celebrate with. I used to have 8 others that celebrated every holiday and full moon. It is suppose to be nice so I think I will go to the beach. That is where I feel the closest to nature, especially at night. |

I've always been a solitary, so I never had the actual experience celebrating the holidays with Pagans/witches :( The most is doing small celebrations with my girlfriend, but it rarely happens because of our long distance. |
Happy Solstice Witchy ones <3

thought~
I'm thinking I might carefully go back to being vegan..just more sensible and more careful about balancing my nutrients this time! Meat eating just does not feel good ...so wish me luck as I venture back, dear witch friends!

Happy New Year! What are some of your witchy goals this year? I hope to improve my Etsy shop and make new witchy zines :) And build a stronger bond with Bast.

I am going to devote more time to the beautiful Goddess Hecate. I am going to devote time learning about natural remedies. I am going to continue working in my trust for the universe and knowING that everything turns out just the way it is suppose to.
I am planting those seeds now so that I can track my progress by Ostara. |

I know. I have been her devotee (to put it lightly) for about 12 years now. I have no others. I have never been called by any other Godess. Although, invoking Aphrodite makes for some really fun evenings. |

Here's to a new year filled with amazing possibilities! |
there was a time solstice was SO BIG in my world. Decorations, ritual creation, and oooh the cooking. In the last couple of years its been so mundane. I give those I live with new toothbrushes, new bath scrubby ball things. I did light some candles, acknowledging with intention all the light coming in to our life we have planned for the future months. I dont have community like I did back in the boisterous days, and I dont really have the resources I want to dedicate to be ring leader for all that hullabaloo-woo either.

"Whoever thou mayest be, beloved stranger, whom I meet here for the first time, avail thyself of this happy hour and of the stillness around us, and above us, and let me tell thee something of the thought which has suddenly risen before me like a star which would fain shed down its rays upon thee and every one, as befits the nature of light. - Fellow man! Your whole life, like a sandglass, will always be reversed and will ever run out again, - a long minute of time will elapse until all those conditions out of which you were evolved return in the wheel of the cosmic process. And then you will find every pain and every pleasure, every friend and every enemy, every hope and every error, every blade of grass and every ray of sunshine once more, and the whole fabric of things which make up your life. This ring in which you are but a grain will glitter afresh forever. And in every one of these cycles of human life there will be one hour where, for the first time one man, and then many, will perceive the mighty thought of the eternal recurrence of all things:- and for mankind this is always the hour of Noon" [Nietzsche]

Mother Moon come to me, I call and ask this of thee, help me feel your strength again, and find the Goddess that resides within. So mote it be. That is a lovely little prayer I found online and really use a lot lately.
|
Here is a weight loss prayer I've been using daily that I found on Pinterest: Goddess within, Goddess without, guide me to my goal. Ease my hunger, soothe my spirit, strengthen my resolve. As I will it, so mote it be.
|
Great Goddess, Mother Earth: Enlighten what's dark in me, Strengthen what's weak in me, Mend what's broken in me, Bind what's bruised in me, Heal what's sick in me, and lastly, Restore whatever peace and love has died in me. I call and ask this of thee Great Mother, So mote it be.

Tomorrow is a special day for many. For me it is the 100th anniversary of my mothers birth. She has been dead for many years, but I still think of her almost every day. She was a wonderful mother, and I was lucky to have her.
Tomorrow is also the vernal equinox and Ostara for all you witchy folk, Hail Spring! I "borrowed" this pic from the Hufffington Post. Isn't it Gorgeous! http://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/...70070486a.jpeg Ryo Ohwada via Getty Images The spring equinox falls on Sunday March 20, 2016. Many Blessings! Smooches, Keri |
a little late my friends, but hope Ostara was amazing for you!

I am peaceful, I am calm, tho the dark may seem so long. For day must follow every night, everything will be alright. I am always safe from harm, the Goddess holds me in her arms. :tarot:
