We have a 20lb cat. Quite the butterball. Luckily for us no farts have been detected.

:dog: is not a big farter, no. Perhaps it is what you are feeding her?

Shelia's cat is the only flatulent feline I have ever encountered. She's as bad as a dog! So help me!

My little kitty, on the other hand, is far too ladylike to do such a thing.

Yeah I have a 22lb cat, and he doesn't fart much, but man he can unload some smelly poop. Good gosh!!!

I think people like to feed cute lil dogs all kinds of people food that they probably shouldn't have. My brother feeds her chicken, turkey and the like whenever he's around her. She's turning into quite the rolly polly too. LOL

My rabbit has never farted (to my knowledge) but I have seen other bunnies fart.

Ok that's fake! I don't think rabbits fart!

Interesting subject matter TD

My dog's farts are quiet and not too deadly. However, a close friend has a border collie who can clear a room!!! Good thing we always have matches handy. :cheesy:

Yup, one of my dog farts and then he will turn around and look at his butt

My cats never did, although - Charlie did once - as he was stretching - and he quickly whipped around as if something just violated him.

I think Ember may have had an episode not too long ago, but that was the first time ever. Naturally, Mare tried to blame me for it, but hey - I own mine.

The dog at work, I suspect, passes gas. Thankfully she doesn't sleep in my office. (The day before last she was ripping them left, right and center, lol...)

My very first girlfriend had a Sharpei who would frequently pass gas (poor dog had a condition, seriously)... but what was funny was - the noise and sensation of letting out the gas would startle him and he would run clear across the room and then turn around as if he was being chased. He had the capacity to clear out the house, never mind the room.

Rabbits eat raw, crude vegetables, they MUST fart.
(All animals pass gas, some are just more .... "delicate" about it than others, lol).

Yanno.... food is the culprit with gastro stuff with pets. Try to find the best foods for your pets delicate system. Constant gas doesn't feel good for animals, either!

If we lit a match when one of our kitties farted it would clear a helluva lot more than the room! :|

:floatbee:s, however, don't fart.

My brothers siberian husky will find Any way to lay near me, to get my attention..However, once he succeeds...often late at night, he will fart...
Right there...
Next to me...
I usually catch a small subtle wiff, then it gets stronger....until it reaches "unbearable" and he's laying his muzzle on his paws lookin left & right...
He quickly gets away cuz thats when I stomp foot and say "GIT, u nasty lil beast, I know u know what u did...I can see your eyes!!".....
My ferrets have yet to fart, to my knowledge...
And yes, it has everything to do with Quality food...
Human "dinner"...or lunch for that matter, is for Humans...leftovers that are given to dogs..or cats, simply cuz they put on the "sad eyes" or coax u, is not a good idea..no matter how cute it may seem..[Some dogs can be allergic to what we eat, some cats as well, Some foods we consume can actually kill either animal...and yes, cats , once adult, are lactose intolerant....]
If they give "sad eyes"..assert yourself in the Pack and give 'em maybe a treat specific to their needs...
Most of the time, they'll be content...
I never give Enik anything off my plate even when it's for trash...
I was once called cruel, callous, heartless because I absolutely refused to give him one of my [rather expensive] green granny smiths..i shrugged it..
They bought him cheap apples..
When he "blessed" his kennel, I pointed out "So...now that u're cleaning him up....and the Kennel...I'm still a selfish prick?"
My brother mumbled and dropped the issue...
Nowadays he asks what are suitable treats, I told him, and he said
"k, youre good at this, u buy it for him, I pay u back, I swear"
I figured he's tired of the Dogs atrocious "somethn crawled up the ass and died" Farts

Canela 04-23-2010 01:02 PM

My 7 year old chihuahua occasionally does, and it smells like bad broccoli...that's how we know it's her...otherwise my daughter will try the "MOM!" thing and laugh and laugh...I don't find it funny at all...

My little chihuahua has yet to do so...to my knowledge...the cat either...again, to my knowledge...heh.
