What made you GASP lately?
 
As some of you know, I am a writer. Someone whose opinion I value greatly spoke of my writing in the same sentence as Acharya Pema Chodron, a Venerable (literally!) and extremely well-regarded and popular Buddhist author!

Watching Untold Stories Of The E.R. and a homeless man came in and he had something wrong with his leg doc fixes him up and he comes back 3 weeks later... Doc goes in to look at it again and from his left knee cap to the tip of his toe he is covered with maggots. So many maggots you cant see any skin. Almost a half inch thick worth of maggots. Doc has nurse shower him and remove the maggots and when he looked at his leg that was the only thing that saved his leg. Were the maggots feeding off of the dead skin. I watched this a few days ago and am still weirded out by it.

Good thing: I have a final interview scheduled for Monday. I am THISCLOSE to being employed!!! :clap:

Not so good: I stubbed the HELL out of my toe last night and it's still super tender. :(

Sorry about the toe,been there and done that.I still havent figured out what I did to my left thumb,feels like I poped it out somehow but cant figure out how..mybe I walk in my sleep and dont know it.

What made me gasp has been a combo of back and shoulder pain..if not one its the other,pain pills and heavy use of the tenns unit are helping...help some more ok?That is all.

Maybe it's that crawdad trying to swim back up. I had to put a napkin over his poor little eyes as they stared in my direction begging for a savior.

A friend called to tell me she walked into her pregnant daughter's apartment and found her in labor. She just delivered her granddaughter right there on the couch before the EMT's could get there.

Made me gasp for sure!
