an electric screwdriver. I cant twist hard enough with a regular screwdriver because of my bad shoulder. And there are SO many things waiting to be hung here...sighing...I really need an electric screwdriver....

A cooling pad for my laptop to keep at the office.

I have one at home but don't carry it around and have never gotten one for my desk at the office. Instead, I just prop it up on the spine side of a 3 ring binder and hope that's enough air flow.

I recommend getting an electric drill instead. I have one and I love it. I have carpal tunnel, so twisting my wrists isn't good....no power to speak of and lots of pain. With the drill I can drill a thin guide hole, then use the screwdriver attachment on the drill to screw in the screw. Much easier and takes less ummph. :)

Mine is a Ryobi HP721K (I just peeked :) ) and it was inexpensive and has lasted for years.

You don't need a heavy one...and I'm sure there are better ones out there now. I just went to Home Depot and started asking questions. They let me try several and this one felt good to me.

A working oven. Mine is good for slow roasting or for charring, but nothing in the middle. I so miss holiday baking, and making bread!

Oh, and a saucepan. I had a lovely four quart Revereware saucepan and lid, but I forgot it was on the fire the day the guy came back and trimmed our trees and now it's charred too, well beyond redemption. Sheesh.

I agree on the oven. mine is a wall oven from maybe 1973? It scares me.
