**HOT** new BFP'er... (proof included)
Heck yeah, I said "HOT" and here's the proof:
EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MST /10 AM PDT/ TO 8 PM MST /8 PM PDT/ FRIDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM MST FRIDAY. * TEMPERATURE: HIGH TEMPERATURES 110 TO 115. FORECAST DAYTIME HIGHS INCLUDE 111 AT PHOENIX SKY HARBOR...113 AT YUMA...EL CENTRO...AND IMPERIAL...110 AT CASA GRANDE...AND 114 AT GILA BEND. * :tease: :superfunny: :p:  :giggle: I stumbled across this site while looking for articles and resources on behalf of a young person who is struggling with gender identity/expressions issues. Having perused the site a bit, I figured why not jump in since, well, it's too dang hot to go outside! Oh, and I think there are a few folks hanging out here who see themselves and the world much like I do; finding more of your tribe is always something to celebrate, eh? In some ways I feel like I hit the lottery when reading some of these threads as I was essentially raised in a gender neutral family, meaning I was free to be me from the first breathe. Thankfully, I've never been "in the closet" about my sexual orientation either. It's always been society's struggle with trying to define or box me in some way, which is likely why I'm allergic to labels and boxes and anything that is confining. Any label, name, etc., doesn't really allow for growth or change, plus they are really just a comparison to someone or something else... and I don't live by comparison. That being said, I live my life first and foremost with respect. If someone wants to ID a certain way and use specific terms, I'll most certainly use the language they prefer and celebrate that with them. I do a significant amount of volunteering and facilitating within the adult and youth GLBTQQIA community and have an enormously diverse group of friends, but I think having a relatively anonymous place here on-line does offer a different kind of support & education. Looking forward to being a part of a safe, respectful space here.... and cooler weather! ComparedToWhom |
