Baby Naming for Evil Parents!
For years I've enjoyed the idea of naming my future child "Funner." Because it sounds like a name, but it's not and it makes me laugh. I've been informed this is an "English major joke."
Then today I saw this: http://cdn1.lostateminor.com/wp-cont...sult-kit-1.jpg Again I thought omgbabynames! :) At UT, there's the Hogg auditorium, named after Ima Hogg. I assume her parents were evil. So, if you were feeling deliciously evil, what would you name your child? |
Diarrhea ;)

I have to think more about what I would name my child if I were truly evil lol...but I do have a name to throw into the thread. Years ago I knew a couple who named their daughter Huckleberry Flynn.

Yeah but shortening it to Lucy would have been funny! :sunglass: |
There was a family in the news of late, who had a child named Adolph Hitler and whatever the last name was. That's a pretty cruel joke to play on a kid for the rest of their life.
My Mom worked for the states Vital Statistics department for 15 years. They keyed all birth and death certificates for the state. You'd be amazed at the names people come up with for their children. Evil or not. It's comical but sometimes sad. Sometimes people name their kid something and would spell the name the way they said it instead of what we know as the correct spelling. A guy I work with has a new baby, he named her Meadow Spring, with the correct spellings and no they are not Native American. |
A distant family relative was named Pia Rose.

Funny you ask..

NEWARK, N.J.—A New Jersey couple who gave their three children Nazi-inspired names is due in court Monday to try to regain custody of their newborn.
Heath and Deborah Campbell's lawyer says state child welfare officials took custody of the child named Hons after he was born Thursday at Hunterdon Medical Center. The state took custody of the couple's other children nearly two years ago, saying there were in danger because of previous violence in the Campbell home. Their parents made headlines in 2009 when a supermarket refused to decorate a birthday cake for their son, Adolf Hitler. His siblings are named JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler. |
True story:
My ex's identical twin sister married a guy with the last name of "Dick" (when the stoopid began). They named their daughter "Anita" and didn't figure it out until years afterwards. :| Sometimes, the only reason for this kinda stuff is just pure stupidity. Incidentally, the girl now goes by "Anne".
