Not today, a day or two ago but...
I love macaroons, only have one very occasionally as a treat. Daughter goes out with to lunch with a birthday party, at a new all you can eat buffet place. Desert selection has macaroons !! She sneaks some in her pocket for Mama !! She gets home and bounds up to me all excited fishing in her pocket.......oh....seems one fell out along the one, one she admitted to eating on the journey home, leaving two. One has been reduced to crumbs and gets shaken out on the floor leaving a squashed strawberry one remaining. I bet you dont fancy it do you she says sadly picking some fluff of it. Oh Yes I do, I assured her. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it with a tear in my eye that while all her pals had been whooping it up at the ice cream bar and chocolate fountain she had thought of me ! I am very blessed !!
