The 75
Documentary about the 75th precinct in New York City and a group of dirty cops and their history of trafficking cocaine, burglaries and robberies in the early 1990's.
The worst of them, Michael Dowd, drove around in a new red Corvette, even parking it at the precinct.
It finally fell apart when a guy that they hired to sell coke, sold some to an undercover cop from Suffolk County, New York. Dowd wound up only serving 12-years in prison after bring convicted of racketeering and conspiracy to distribute narcotics.
After His conviction, Mayor Dinkins appointed a commission to investigate police corruption within the NYPD. As a result, dozens of officers across the city's precincts were arrested.
Fascinating and sad documentary.

"...I'm deeply concerned by recently adopted policies which punish children for their parents’ actions ... The thought that any State would seek to deter parents by inflicting such abuse on children is unconscionable."
