I perused both Michael's and ACMoore tonight and neither had wax sticks. I think I'm just going to get some nice crayons and make it work.
Hey Gemme...thanks for your input!

I am open as I have said to letting the crafter choose their own medium...cloth...paper...whatever they find may work....I love everyone's work to date & know we have some very creative folks....so hope to see a good signup.......

Beeswax stick will work also.....we have 3 here as my partner's father is a beekeeper so not only do we get fresh homegrown honey, we get beeswax sticks.........

I will get the signup list started tomorrow and see if I can post the rules on bottom.....any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...can I cut & paste it from the bottom of some recent signups??

another idea to use....

I have googled wax resist sticks and found them available at Blick's, Amazon.com, and Jerry's ArtARama.......

I found a 4 oz jar of Murray's Yellow Beeswax jar for about $4 at Walmart...online...just to help anyone get started.....

And there is always good old crayons...:

One link above shows how to use Vaseline even....it is a cool technique looks like....

I am excited to get started with this one.....and fabric, watercolor paper, or whatever medium will be fine..
