When giving bad news, is it better to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothin' but the truth or is it better to sugarcoat the truth (without lying) to help ease the impact?
I like to tell it like it is, but I also am gentle in the delivery of the news so as to ease its' impact.

Is it better to save your money throughout your lifetime so as to always have a nest egg to fall back on should you need the funds, or to spend your money on whatever suits you, whenever, as you never know how long you'll live?

You may want to consider creating a "pet trust" which ensures that your wishes are honored.
