While we see an extremely small amount of foliage change here, and even less of a temperature change, what we do get with arrival of fall is an abundance of fall/winter crops starting to show up in the markets. Winter squashes, the big ass Florida avocados, carambola (star fruit), eggplant, various peppers and a fresh crop of tomatoes. It is the beginning of our citrus season as well, what's left of it anyway.
I also look forward to some of the local fall festivals, and the knowledge that we only have a couple more months of hurricane season left.
