Actually, it was yesterday but the smiles have lasted because I stuck them in my freezer.

I stopped by the Subway up the street from my house early yesterday morning to grab a cup of joe and say hi to a friend of mine who is the manager there. As we were talking, she was unloading the cookie case and filling it with freshly baked cookies. The next thing I knew she presented me with a bag filled with the cookies from the case. There had to be 30+ cookies in there.
Two doors down from the Subway is a small laundromat and there are usually 2 or 3 women sitting outside, either because they work there or are waiting for their clothes to finish. Anyway, I walked over and explained where I got the cookies from, so they hopefully would not think me some kind of cookie peddling perv, and offered them some of the cookies. Only one woman accepted, saying she would take them home to her kids, so I unloaded about a 1/3 of them there. The rest are in my freezer, but I will likely give some to my neighbors as well.
Take a bite out of a cookie then look at it...it's a smile!
