My dad had it right all these years. I used to think he was bonkers but as I've aged and grown to appreciate my own space, I think he's totally onto something.
He and my stepmom lived in separate homes. Granted, they usually lived next door or around the corner from one another for over 30 years but it was ideal. He came over and helped her with the house and she sent him home with a plate of food. They were able to love one another and then go HOME. It was like they dated for over 3 decades so they kept the spark alive.
