oh my goodness, Yes! There was a gentleman who came to the nursing home, one evening, last November. He played the accordion, really really well. When he came by my room and asked to play a song for me, I asked if he could play Blue Bayou. Omg, it was awesome and he even gave me permission to record h on video (I posted it on my page at fb). He wouldn't accept a tip from me.... so I investigated on my own via nursing contacts and sent him a gift certificate for him and his wife at a nearby restaurant. So yes, I totally say TRUE to tipping musicians in service. Great question, ocean!
