Yes, I got them mixed up! If memory serves (ha!) I think we went to both places but it has been about 4 years now.

McMenamin brothers opened their first tavern (bar & grill) back in the early 80s. McMenamin's exist all over the greater metro area and their locations are very unusual in that most all of them occupy landmark historical properties, both here and in Washington (I think). They're also known for being the first brewers to legally use fruit in their breweries. Ruby's pale ale is an regional favorite, for sure.
I usually order a small Romaine Salad with grilled chicken and bacon, and a side order of garlic tater tots. It's more than enough to eat. I usually ask for a to-go box to take left overs home with me. |
