Two days ago, a flurry of colleagues on my work campus reached out to me. Then yesterday, a close friend on another floor in my tower reached out to me and is coming by tonight to take me out to dinner. I have no idea where we will go or what type of food venue we will end up going to, but she just got back from an overseas work conference and we haven't seen each other since last fall. So it will be nice to catch up with her and enjoy a leisurely supper in each other's company.
