Spend a day finding out the history of the family who once built it and lived in it and subsequent ownership by other interesting socialites. I think it's one of the most romantic city offerings we have in Portland.... not far from Pittock Mansion is the Rose Gardens. It's also just as romantic and beautiful. Both historical landmarks are favorite locations for weddings and especially for Winter Holiday festivities.
