Cold...cold...cold, but no snow...under a gray sky as big as
the world...5mi this am...my thoughts went to those days
when I couldn't get past half a block in the park...and how
little by little I engaged with the joy of moving my body
and the sensualness of feeling it sweat, and gain strength
and in my mind I was flying...until my little old lady friend
would pass me...smiling...damn she can run!
