If anyone every needs it I could send ya a copy of the letter I sent my family. It would have to be as a pdf file since my computer was stolen and i'm too lazy to retype the thing. But I could easily scan the copy I saved for myself.

My family was mixed. Brother disowned me, but didn't surprise me. Hardest part has been no contact with my nephews. The youngest just turned 18 but has one more year at home since he was held back. Once he graduates I'm going to send him and his brother a bried note with birthday/graduation/christmas money and let them make their own decisions. Won't go into anything deep within them just let them know that they get to make their own decision and if they ever want to talk about it I'm here and even if they chose not to have me in their life at this time the door is always open.

Parents are better then I thought. It's not a huge topic of discussion and they live 1000 miles away. However I haven't gone home. Sometimes I'd like to but I guess I just don''t want to put them in an uncomfortable situation.
