Well, it's because your taste buds become accustomed to flavor after about 3 swallows or bites. Same thing with ice cream.

I found this: Most of our senses cannot continue to deliver the same intensity of stimulation that they do when they first encounter a new stimulus. You’ve probably also noticed that you experience the same thing when you smell something. If you walk into a room that has a certain scent, after a short time, you no longer smell it at all. Taste and smell are very closely related. Just as the intensity of a particular scent fades in time, so does the intensity of a particular taste.

To be thread compliant, I slept a little later than normal and didn't work out but I do have to work so it's not overeasy....just kind of normally easy-ish.
