Today I spent part of the afternoon at a local farmer's market. The beautiful squash and late season vegetables and fruits looked so good, especially the huge heads of cabbage (big enough to make at least a dozen half gallon jars of pickled cabbage). I love going there because everything is locally grown and sundry cooking products are local to the area too.
I downloaded an walking app to my phone. Here's what it says, in terms of steps walked today: 4300 steps (at the outdoor market, alone). I was there for nearly two hours. By the time I walked home and lugged my grocery bags upstairs, my total steps for the afternoon exercise at the Farmer's Market was 4500 steps. Total hours involved: 3 hours.
