With temps down in the 20's here in Eastern Washington we've only gotten about 2" of snow so far but people are saying 1-6 more by mid day tomorrow. So far I'm not seeing any signs of that, but better safe than sorry. There is a winter storm warning advisory in effect until around 10 tomorrow morning. My oldest stopped by yesterday with some easy convenience foods and today J and I made a run to the corner store today to pick up a few things. Since it was before the after work crowd rush, the snow starting to fall, no long lines or people elbowing each other out of the way to grab stuff. I try to keep enough staples on hand that I don't need to make a store run when bad weather is predicted. A trip to a corner grocery for a few fresh/luxury items to make the canned/shelf stable stuff a little less boring, work to prepare is nice but optional. I like looking outside and knowing if it's bad I don't have to go out in the cold.
