I got such a chuckle this morning....
When I left to run errands, I came upon a little turtle sunbathing on the road. When I got out of my car to "save" him from being hit... he must'a been a racing turtle 'cause he scurried very fast off the road, hissing at me the whole way while I directed him to the side that has a small pond.
I thought "gee little buddy, you need racing stripes and a tune up!!"

When I got home and pulled into the drive, I nearly hit a BIG turtle, about the size of a dinner plate!! This one's shell was all yucky with green muck from his favorite water hole...he was happily munching on dandelions and didn't want to budge! When I picked him up to move him off my parking spot, he stuck his tongue out at me and pulled back into his "home". With this lil guy, I thought "I'm happy I have turtles to smile at and not Blade's house snakes!!"
