You'll Never Walk Alone by Rodgers & Hammerstein was written for the Broadway musical Carousel (1945). 20 years later, Gerry & the Pacemakers covered the original song by R&H, making it popular once again.

Liverpool FC adopted this song as it's official anthem, as well as a few other soccer clubs around the world.
