I also have living room sliding glass doors leading to a deck. I’m using large boxes to cover the doors for now. I expect to get complaints if I don’t take care of this soon. Think I’ll go with shutters or wood blinds and add curtains in late spring.

At first I was dreading the unpacking part, but I’m starting to enjoy it because I’m finding things I need (clock radio dock, scissors, shoes).

Here’s to creative, if not perfect, solutions!
