I still haven't replaced the battery on my pedometer. The compartment requires a teeeeeeeny tiny Phillips head to open it up to get to the button lithium battery. If one came with the pedometer, I don't recall. It's been a year and a half on one battery so I don't think that's bad at all.

I'm still walking about the same amount daily; I just can't verify that for sure or gauge the distance and calorie usage.
