It's unusually warm for December in my neck of the woods. Right now it's 53°F.

We're getting rain instead of snow. I'm cool with that because I missed the rain when I lived on the west coast. Often there were high levels of road accidents (from the build up of oil on the road), mud slides, floods, etc. I used to brace myself when it rained and I never got used to it. Anyway, it's really nice to have a few days of rain without those concerns.
