I swear to God somewhere Stephen King is writing this novel…

I'm here for it... all for it. A ton of money is coming into my state. The politicians and their cronies are courting us like a mutha. I usually get one visit per Presidential election, but I've had four "get out the vote" teams come to my house in the last month to see if I'm voting. I usually offer them bottles of water or protein drinks.
President Clinton was blocks away from me stumpin' for Harris/Walz a week ago, Former First Lady M.O. was less than 100 miles from me doing the same the week before that. VP Harris and Gov Walz seem to be here every other day. And we're making a lot of money from ad dollars. I watch and listen to the ads. Yep, even his.
I know it's crazy and I cuss out the TV, too, but I'm here for the attention my state is getting. Even the bad attention because it energizes us. It puts a spotlight on us, but we can take the heat.
Along with that, Gov Whitmer has been flooding our air waves and it's always good to see and hear her tell us why we need to vote and who we need to vote for.
I also love that VP Harris is talking to anyone and everyone who will chat with her. From Steve Harvey to Charlamagne tha God to Shay Shay. (One of my few problems with Pres. Obama was that he wouldn't talk to some people when he was running. He fell out with Tavis Smaley and Cornel West because he wouldn't "go on the record" and speak with them. He's still paying for that. I don't hold it against him, but I'm glad VP Harris isn't making the same error.)
I'm usually the first to moan and groan about this madness, but remarkably, I'm here for this.
