I'm watching our Shark Matrix robot vaccum the house to make sure she (we dubbed her "CLEAN Elizabeth", but really call her "the Queen") doesn't "eat" something she shouldn't.......like our charging cords, which sometimes dangle on the floor. Sometimes she hits the odd cat treat on the floor, sending it shooting like a missile across the room!!! Otherwise, she does a good job. 
It takes her about 3 hours to vaccum the entire house, but hey, she's doing it, not us!!!!
