I’ve been hearing about severe weather events across the country: massive winter snow storms, and out here— massive rain events, stuff we used to get quite often on a daily basis, but it’s been anything but wet since the late 1990s. Something changed during the early 2000s and now environmental disasters are practically happening on a repeated basis with no regard for any one season. Each season has its own unique weather systems which pack a serious ‘punch’.
We’ve got serious water problem hazards, for sure. Last time we had a recent similar event, trees fell into homes causing devastating damage. We’ve had lots of serious scarring burns through out nearby counties. Too much rain and trees fall, land slides, and roads in bad repair become worse than they already are.
I’m hoping some form of milder weather with sunshine arrives soon.
