Default Coded Bias (Netflix, 2020).

This documentary was on Netflix for 49 weeks but I found it on another app for library card holders (Kanopy).

This film (doc) is about the hidden bias factors in artificial intelligence (AI). A scholar from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism (Katanyya) dug into the fallout of MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini’s startling discovery of racial bias in facial recognition technology.

Excellent documentary, I watched it on Kanopy.

Here’s a superb trailer which was filmed at Oxford University.
