Today I discovered something {for my own sense of education}
Birds enjoy sunbathing...
Lemmie explain...Before u assume I lost it...
the robin I'm taking care of, for the first time, this morning hopped to the sunlit ground by the front door...
And spread his wings at various poses...
At one point, I actually thought 'wait, is he dying?' cuz the pose he took, slightly leaning, wing spread, perfectly still...
But he kept switching, whenever the sunlight would 'weaken' he'd go back to his typical resting pose...
when it was at the strongest, I realized 'that lil fucker's sunbathing'
Cuz he bowed..head down forward, wings totally spread, chest puffed...
I had to mumble "it's stuff like this I really need a digi cam for..damn"
there's a few examples in google and yahoo....
