Default Five Things I Miss

Thunderstorms, yes. I've missed them. They don't happen up here. I've only seen lightning 3 times in more than 4 years here and heard thunder one less than that.

Warm rain. It only rains cold, stinging rain here, even in summer.

Yeast rolls from Quincy's (out of business, I think) and Golden Corral.

True Southern cooking.

Having friends in close vicinity....which leads to cooking and possibly yeast rolls and, if we wait long enough, rain and storms.
