If you just bail without offering any kind of explanation (sorry guys, I'm going to be late, my pet/child/partner/parent got sick/moved/ate my homework) then I think it's completely appropriate to call them out. It's one thing if life gets in the way--we allll have that happen, but to let it get in the way without any kind of "I'm still here, I'm still invested" is not okay with me.
Selfishness is one of my hot button things, though, and I fully expect that everyone will make and send beautiful mixes of bitchin music  |
*sigh* Let's just give everyone the benefit of the doubt, shall we? Do you have any suggestions other than calling people out?
