On a hot sticky night in 1912 in Villisia, Iowa, a family of six were murdered with an axe in their beds. To this very day, no one lives in this house even though it had several owners since, no one feels comforfortable enough to stay there. The history of this house goes back to when the Fox tribe controlled "Willisia-meaning place of evil." The place where the house now sits is the exact location where the Fox and Sioux sent their criminally insane members. They put them there because they believed the ground was negative. Native Americans always studied where animals felt safe, how trees grew, what plants grew well in places. They knew that poisonious plants, stinging insects, and misshapen plant life were results of negative energy. it's good to know the history of a place.
