i have to admit i'm a bah humbug....if it were up to me, the holiday season would be the same length as the sports season...ONE DAY!
However, because most of my exes and friends are christian, i do play along with it, without too much mumblin under my breath.
i'm one who prefers to give than get, especially when the person getting understands how much i love it and skips the whole, "but i didn't get you anything" spiel. It also helps when the money is nice
my fondest holiday memories include my chosen family, for sure.
