 Honey, the pattern doesn't matter. The colors and size do.   Granny squares are only ONE idea. Solid squares will be FANTABULOUS! I actually think Granny Squares are like the uber simple (gee can't she do anything else) of crochet. And no, lol, I have not branched out from Granny Squares. I can't read the darn patterns!
