[Isadora]

The memories of my Grandmother, who died today at 101. She was an amazing, strong, graceful, bossy and always perfectly dressed! I will scan a picture today and post it of her.

I got my sense of style and grace from her. She always wore Coty's Airspun powder since the 20's and I wear it to this day to smell like her. Millions of times I heard her say, "Just give me a minute to put on my lipstick and powder my nose."



She was my childhood joy. She had more shoes and purses than me. She was a determined and an amazing woman. She is now with my Grandfather, probably bossing him around.

I loved her. She was a joy in my life.

May the fairies meet her in Avalon. May they dance with her through gently falling apple blossoms to Benny Goodman.
