Back when I used to work in television production for an NBC affiliate, this was the theme for the NBC Evening News. Only at Christmas time, for the 6 PM news, would they run the full credits for our local production staff. For this once a year occasion, this song would run in its entirety while our names scrolled by, complete with the Christmas graphics. I was always immensely proud to be a part of the station staff when they'd do that. Only at Christmas. Listening to it now surely brings back good memories. That was a fun job, even if it didn't pay great.

The Mission (theme from the NBC Nightly News) -- composed by John Williams
