Good morning everyone
Extra coffee needed this morning...and I confess I'm eating leftover cake for breakfast....got a massive 5 hours of sleep last night, which was at least better than the previous night's 3
I managed to get some of the outside lights up last night, but honestly I'm not feeling the holidays at all. Rapidly getting to "I really don't care" on them, as a matter of fact. It's hard to have the holiday spirit by myself.
Anyway...thanks Zimmy, as it turns out Scoote didn't have strep throat....just a sore throat and a cough to go along with her perpetually painful back. It's impacting all of her joints too, and really not sure what it is except that it makes her miserable and in pain virtually all of the time. I harassed her enough that she finally went to a doctor, who at least gave her pain pills and muscle relaxers, but her insurance denied her getting an MRI to see what's going on with her back. They can see the herniated disc on the x-ray, but beyond that...who knows? She'll be on my insurance come January 1, and hopefully we'll get her some better medical care as a result.
Glad you had fun at the parade Zimmy (and your new hairdo looks adorable by the way!
) I've decided "screw the grey hair" and I'm going to go get it dyed again today. I'm feeling ugly and undesirable enough at the moment without having grey hair to make me feel old too!
I have a bit of catching up to do for work today, but fortunately no conference calls...so maybe I'll actually get to do that.
