I believe it's the McDonalds commercial that speaks of saying carmel or car-a-mel. I've said it both ways, but it is not like potato or pa-ta-to. Or tomato and to-ma-to. Who the fuck says patato or tamato? Maybe they talked like that 100 years ago or something but noone says I want a patato with sourcream and butter. I dunno, it just irks me when people use that saying cause people just don't talk like that.
And something else that irks me is when I'm watching a football game and a receiver catches a pass - not a touchdown or a game winning catch - just a catch and he does some stupid dance. I just want to grab him by his facemask and say "Dude - you know what you just did? You did your job." You don't see me doing some stupid dance when I sell someone a car battery. I don't know, it just seems like bad sportsmanship and stupidity.
