Oatmeal Liver Cookies
1 lb. of raw liver (chicken livers work and they are cheap)You could also add a 16 oz can of liver dog food in place of the liver if that is your preference.
1 egg, slightly beaten (keep the eggshell, you will add it into the mixture)
5 c. dry Quick Quaker Oats
2 heaping T. Flax Meal
warm water as needed
Mix egg and shell, liver and flax in a blender or food processor. Gradually add oatmeal alternately with warm water to the meat/egg. Mix until it is like a thick cake batter. Bake in a greased 8x11 pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut in squares. Place in plastic bags and refrigerate. Can be frozen.
